Naming Opportunities

Donors can create a lasting tribute at Queens College by naming a permanent space on campus, a professorship or chair, a specialized program or event of interest, a student scholarship or an endowment fund to support faculty.

  • Naming a Space on Campus
Naming opportunities are available throughout the campus. They include buildings and other prominent spaces, classrooms of all sizes, library study areas and practice rooms at the Aaron Copland School of Music or our Summit Residence Hall, science and computer labs, and many other opportunities. To learn more about naming a space on campus, please email us at QC.Foundation@qc.cuny.edu or call us at (718) 997-3920.
  • Creating Endowed Professorships
Endowed Professorships enable the College to recruit or recognize outstanding teachers by creating highly-distinguished faculty positions. These named positions are filled by prominent scholars or up-and-coming professors or researchers who show tremendous promise in the early stages of their careers. Donors who create named professorships transform the College for future generations and advance the standards of academic excellence at Queens College. To learn more about named professorships, please email us at QC.Foundation@qc.cuny.edu or call us at (718) 997-3920.
  • Naming or Sponsoring a Lecture, Event, or Music Series
Another way donors can support Queens College is by naming or sponsoring special lectures and forums, cultural or scholarly events, concerts, plays or music series, art openings and exhibits, sporting events and competitions held by our Athletics Department, and so many more. To learn more, please email us at QC.Foundation@qc.cuny.edu or call us as (718) 997-3920.
  • Centers, Institutes, Special Programs and Faculty Projects
Queens College is home to the prestigious Benjamin Rosenthal Library and an array of first-rate centers, institutes and specialized programs that focus on such universal issues as economic development, the environment, health care, intercultural conflict resolution, cultural preservation, immigration, and equity and access in education. Lending support towards these initiatives allows the College to expand its scope while remaining at the forefront of academia, research, technology, and experiential learning.
