A discussion with Lee Fensterstock, a CEO and leader in the Financial Services industry

Mr. Fensterstock '68 is currently Chairman and CEO of Fensterstock Associates, a company formed to invest in the financial services industry. Prior to forming Fensterstock Associates, Mr. Fensterstock was the founding Chairman of the Board of Broadpoint Securities Group and CEO of Broadpoint Securities Group and Broadpoint Gleacher. Prior to joining Broadpoint, Mr. Fensterstock founded Bonds Direct Securities LLC. and  was its Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer until it was sold to the Jefferies Group.

Previously, Mr. Fensterstock was President and Chief Operating Officer of Gruntal & Co., a regional Broker Dealer. Earlier he served as Executive Vice President, Capital Markets for Paine Webber and was responsible for Paine Webber’s sales and trading business worldwide. He also served as a member of Paine Webber’s Executive Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors of Paine Webber Inc., Mr. Fensterstock received a BA in Mathematics from Queens College and an MBA from the University of Rochester. He is currently a member of the board of trustees of The George Washington University.
