A Conversation with Dr. Saul Unter

Dr. Saul Unter was raised in the Bronx and graduated from City College of New York in 1960. He attended NYU Dental School and graduated in 1964.

Dr. Unter served as a Captain in the United States Air Force for two years until 1966. After the Air Force, Dr. Unter pursued his Orthodontics certification part time from NYU while practicing dentistry.

In 1972, he opened a private partnership specializing in Orthodontics. In 1976, he opened his own private practice which he held for over 30 years.

Dr. Unter has been a life-long mentor and has counseled countless young adults throughout his career.
