J.P. Morgan — Day on Wall Street
On February 28, 2014, 15 students traveled to Manhattan to spend a “Day on Wall Street” at the J.P. Morgan headquarters. Hosted by Charles L. Swarns, Jr. (’80), Managing Director, students attended the Morning Call, then were transitioned to the conference center where they heard from a number of employees on the recruitment process, career paths, and advice for breaking into and succeeding in the finance world. Panelists included Kathy Hu (’00), QCF Board member, as well as Eileen R. Cohen (’75), Fernando Olivero (’12), and Ed Rosengarten (’13), as well as a number of other J.P. Morgan employees. Students had the opportunity to hear from professionals on the analyst, associate, banker, and managing director levels, and to network and ask questions throughout the sessions.
