A Conversation with Michael Craig-Scheckman ’75: Chief Executive Office & Portfolio Manager for Deer Park Road Management Company

Michael Craig-Scheckman, ’75, CEO/Portfolio Manager, is the Principal Partner of Deer Park. He has been in the investment business for over 30 years and has over 20 years experience in the distressed MBS/ABS field. Mr. Craig-Sheckman worked for Millenium Parters from 1993 to 2010. During the height of his involvement with Millenium Partners, he managed a $475 million porfolio for Millenium Partners. Mr. Craig-Scheckman has run Deer Park firm from July 2003 until the present. He earned a BA and MA in Physics at Queens College. He is a native of New York and has lived in Colorado with his wife and youngest daughter since July 2003.
