Launching into Success:David Rosen

David Rosen '80 is an experienced senior executive in the life sciences and financial services industries and serial entrepreneur with a proven track record in business management, business development, product and operational management.   Most recently, Dave launched his newest company, Dash Pharmaceuticals, which is committed to providing high-quality generic products that are affordable and accessible to patients. Graduating from Queens College in 1980 as an Economics/Political Science double major (BA, Summa Cum Laude), Mr. Rosen built a successful career in commercial banking.  Starting as a management trainee, he rose through the organization to lead the retail banks marketing and product management activities and become Managing Director of Republic National Bank of NY (which was later sold to HSBC).   He left banking to pursue entrepreneurship in 1995 and hasn’t looked back.  Since then, Dave has been involved in multiple start-up companies as a co-founder and/or investor and advisor.
