
Curating Success: Susan Teller and Rona Schneider
Susan Teller, ’75 is the owner of the Susan Teller Gallery, located in the heart of Soho. Ms. Teller graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 1967 and earned a master’s degree in art history from Queens College in 1975. She was employed by the Museum of Modern Art and later, the Associated American Artists. She is a member of Art Table, an Advisory Board member of the Society of American Graphic Artists, and the Art Deco Society, and an Executive Board Member of the International Fine Print Dealers Association.
The focus of the gallery is American paintings, prints, and unique works on paper, of the 1930s, 40s, and 50s, including the WPA Era, Urban and Industrial Realism, and Modernism. Ms. Teller has placed works with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum of Art, the New York Public Library, NY, and the British Museum, London, and the museums of colleges and universities such as Northwestern, Harvard, Wellesley, and Yale.
Rona Schneider, ’78 is the owner of the Rona Schneider Fine Prints gallery. She received her bachelor’s of art from Queens College in 1978, with a major in art history. Her gallery focuses on American Prints of the 19th and 20th Century. She also deals a selection of European prints.
Ms. Schneider is a member of The International Fine Print Dealers Association.
