The Kupferberg Center (94040) Fund

Thank you for making a donation to the Kupferberg Center (94040) Fund. Your contribution supports our programs, which are geared towards audiences of all ages in Queens and beyond. Some of these programs include:

  • The Kupferberg Arts Incubator: an artist residency initiative that supports the work by artists of color who are active contributors to the cultural landscape of New York City and the nation. Incubator projects are led by select Queens College faculty and unpack issues of social and racial justice.
  • The Mosaic Project: this K-6 program celebrates the rich cultural diversity of Queens in “hands-on” arts education classes and workshops at public schools throughout the borough. Launched as a Cultural After School Adventures (CASA) project, the Mosaic is part of the in-school curriculum at three public schools in Queens during the 2021-2022 academic year. We hope to expand to up to 15 schools by 2025.
  • Kupferberg Center’s 2022-2023 Season: With the goal of ensuring Kupferberg Center’s value and relevance, we continue to develop collaborative projects and present artists of cultural significance to the general public and to the Queens College community. Our concert series include jazz, pop, Latin, world music, family programs, and off-site performances.
  • The QC Art Center: The Queens College Art Center is an art gallery located on the sixth floor of Rosenthal Library. Every year we present between three and five curated visual arts shows and artist talks, which include collaborative group exhibitions as well as solo shows.
