The Kupferberg Center (94040) Fund

Thank you for donating to the Kupferberg Center (94040) Fund. Your contribution supports our programs, which are geared toward audiences of all ages in Queens and beyond. Some of these programs include:

  • Kupferberg Center’s Main Stage Season: Since 1961, the Kupferberg Center has been a cultural cornerstone, presenting diverse programs for Queens and beyond. Our upcoming season continues this tradition with collaborative projects, culturally renowned artists, and a dynamic concert series featuring jazz, pop, Latin, world music, family programs, and off-site performances.
  • Kupferberg Center Education: Kupferberg Center brings world-class arts education experiences to over 10,000 students and seniors in Queens each year, fostering creativity, cultural understanding, and community engagement. Through our Revelations, CASA, and SU-CASA initiatives, and our in-school residencies--CuBop to Hip-Hop and the Mosaic Project--we celebrate the rich cultural diversity of Queens through our hands-on arts activities throughout the borough.
  • CUNY Dance Initiative (CDI): A rehearsal and performance residency program for dance companies and choreographers on CUNY campuses across the five boroughs. Kupferberg Center leads, manages, and fundraises for CDI on behalf of 13 CUNY campuses and three partner arts organizations and has ensured the program’s success for the past decade.
  • Queens Rising: A dynamic arts celebration amplifying the cultural diversity of our borough through unique performances, exhibitions, and partnerships. With support from 14 planning partners and over 100 presenting partners, the initiative has showcased hundreds of community events, exhibiting the vibrant artistic talent of Queens.
  • The QC Art Center: A vibrant space for emerging and established artists alike, fostering interdisciplinary partnerships and showcasing diverse perspectives through over 200 exhibitions, including works by masters like Alice Neel and Joseph Cornell. The Art Center hosts 3-5 free exhibitions annually, inviting visitors to explore, question, and engage with art in a spirit of openness and inclusivity.
