Rachel Wong is a senior majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology and Linguistics.
She is currently the President of the International Students Club at Queens College, was a mentor for the Freshman Year Initiative Program, and was a tutor for the Committee of Disabled Students Club. She also worked part-time at an organic delicatessen and as a teacher’s assistant at a preschool. Rachel is now applying to graduate school for SpeechLanguage Pathology and is expected to matriculate in fall 2020. She hopes to be a speech-language therapist for children in NYC public schools. “Thanks to my scholarship, I am given the best opportunity to focus on my studies and pursue my career goals. I am extremely thankful to those who have alleviated my financial burden by donating and providing scholarships for my education.”
