Joseph Fernandez '20 is a senior majoring in Fitness, Nutrition, and Exercise Sciences (FNES) with a minor in Honors in Math and Natural Sciences (HMNS).
As part of the HMNS track, he works in a research lab. His current work is analyzing data of children with cerebral palsy and comparing their motions to the general population. His goal is to be a physical therapist. He volunteers at St. Mary’s Hospital for Children and is an active member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity on campus. “Being awarded a scholarship to attend Queens College is a privilege I am extremely grateful for. It has allowed me to explore various volunteer opportunities in my field without having to worry about my financial situation. Queens College has provided me with an outstanding education and I will forever be thankful.”
