I am very happy to give back to Queens College. I  transferred  to Queens College in Fall 2012. I am so glad that I have enrolled here. Queens College is one of the best colleges and has some exceptional professors. The professors really want us to learn and do the best in our life. My majors are Accounting (GPA 3.8) and Economics (4.0) since my long term career goal is to become a CPA.   I have enjoyed  every class from the beginning to the end.  Dr. Israel Blumenfrucht (chairman of accounting department) was the professor of my taxation course. Even though he is engaged with other responsibilities, it is his passion that made him share with us his invaluable knowledge.   Not only business classes, I have also achieved my writing skills from essay writing (200W) course. Before I started this class, I hardly had an idea about writing. I did not have sufficient proficiency to know the difference between writing and constructing a sentence correctly. My classmates and my professor’s valuable counsel provided me a guide line, how I could improve the quality of writing by being more specific to the point of the topic. Although I attended two different colleges and completed two other English courses, I did not learn as much as I learned from this course. 

Aside from the purely academic issues, Queens College has a beautiful historic and modern campus. Every building has a computer lab which is very comfortable to do any quick task or just to check emails. Their student advising center is very helpful and respectful to students. I love the QC database research tool at Rosenthal Library which is an incredible resource center for students. Queens College is a five star academic institution which is providing me an excellent education to achieve my career goal and learn to serve the community. I can never return their contribution but this is one way to say thank you.
