Alejandra Villanueva '13 was a Senator in the Academic Senate, President for La Tertulia, the Spanish cultural club, Vice President for Golden Key Honor Society and the College Union Programming Board and Programming Chair for student government. “My decision to attend Queens College was the right choice, but without the scholarship I received I know I may have made a different decision. One of the most rewarding experiences here at QC has been my involvement in the Peer Counseling program. Here I have been able to learn about counseling and have been able to talk to students about any issue that they have been facing, both academic and personal. Queens College is one of the few institutions with a program such as Peer Counseling, and so I am glad I am at Queens."
